2. Overview

This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking services. No content is loaded from third parties, not even fonts: all fonts are stored locally on the server. I only process personal data to the extent necessary to operate the website and handle your inquiries.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. [To check: confirm the data processing agreement (DPA) with Netlify under Art. 28 GDPR and add the legal basis for the transfer of data to the USA (standard contractual clauses or EU-US Data Privacy Framework).]

When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data in server log files, in particular IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, and browser type and operating system. This processing is necessary to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security, and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of the website).

The domain pixidigital.io is registered with Namecheap, Inc. (USA).

4. Contact form

If you use the contact form, I process the data you enter: name, email address, requested service and budget (both optional) and the text of your message. I use this information exclusively to answer your inquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quote.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to the conclusion of a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries). Providing your name, email address and message is voluntary. Without them, however, I cannot answer your inquiry.

Transmission via Make

The form data is forwarded to me via the automation service Make. Make acts as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Make belongs to the Celonis group, headquartered in Prague (Czech Republic). According to my configuration, the endpoint used is located in the service's EU zone (eu1). [To check: enter Make's contracting party according to the data processing agreement (DPA) in your Make account, and add where the Make scenario forwards the data, e.g. email inbox, Notion, spreadsheet or CRM. Each of these recipients must also be named here.]

Spam protection

To protect against automated misuse, the form contains a hidden field and checks how long it took to fill in. No additional data is stored and no cookies are set.

5. Contact by email

If you send me an email, I process your email address, the content of your message and the message metadata in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR, as described above.

6. Storage period

I store your inquiry for as long as necessary to handle it and any follow-up questions. After that, I delete the data unless statutory retention obligations apply, for example under commercial or tax law if a contract has been concluded. Server log files are kept by the hosting provider for a short time only. Inquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted no later than six months after the correspondence ends.

7. External links

This website links to external pages, for example to projects in my portfolio. Simply visiting this website does not transfer any data to these pages. Only when you click a link do the privacy policies of the respective operator apply.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights towards me:

  • Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)

You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to contact@pixidigital.io is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

9. Data security

Data transmitted between your browser and this website is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).

10. Changes

I update this policy when the website, the services used or the legal situation change. The version published here applies.
